The preschool educational program at CDS begins in the Early Learning Center in which we accept children one year old or older and extends into the pre-kinder, kinder and preparatory levels. Our objective in the preschool program is to advocate the early education of children. We are dedicated to providing a loving, stimulating, hands-on learning environment that follows a development appropriate curriculum with well-planned activities. These activities encourage children to socialize while developing their natural abilities. The staff focuses on the whole child and his or her overall growth and development. We understand that play is a child's work and are dedicated to helping improve the quality of each child's educational experience during these early school years. These preschool years are times when the children develop their self-esteem, gain acceptance from their peers and are allowed to learn new skills through discovery, experimentation and exploration in a caring environment.
