Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or higher
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with fluency in English
  • Proficiency in Web 2.0 applications, word processing, creation and management of spreadsheets
  • Understanding of library organization
  • Understanding of library management system or willingness to learn

6-12 Curriculum Coordinator (please read full job description here)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and certification in education.
  • Significant and successful work in developing and implementing curriculum and collaborating effectively with others.
  • A(n) (ongoing) master's degree with a curriculum / instructino specialization is preferred.
  • At least 3 years' experience in the classroom (meaningful high school work experience is essential) with evidence of exemplary practice in curriculum, instruction and organization.
  • Through direct teaching experience, understands the high school and middle school curricular progression for working towards the ouctome of students acceptances to selective colleges in the United States and beyond.
EC-12 Technology Teacher and Integrationist (please read full job description here) 

Requirements: 
  • Successful experience in educational setting;
  • Experience in instructional design and clear goals and strategies for integrating technology in instruction;
  • Possesses skills in Web 2.0 applications, web page development, digital video and audio editing, and image processing; communications tools (word processing, presentation), database design, spreadsheet creation
  • Demonstrates knowledge of current research, theory, and pedagogy as it relates to educational technology;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Compatible with the CDS mission and beliefs
  • Solid foundation and understanding of technology integration at the Elementary and/or Middle school level
  • Experience collaborating with and teaching teachers.
Mathematics Teacher for High School

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and course concentration in related field.
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Education and/or teacher certification (preferable)
  • Minimun 2 years of experience as mathematics teacher in high school setting.
  • Familiarity with high school U.S. curriculum and new technologies.
  • Ability and interest in teaching upper level math courses (AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Statistics)
  • Familiarity with the Common Core Standards for math and willingness to pilot integrated (or non-traditional) math courses (Math Topics, Alegra 1/Geometry combo)
  • Experience in developing curriculum.
  • Willingness to become involved in activities outside of the classroom (clubs, committees, etc.)
Chemistry Teacher for High School Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and course concentration in related field.
  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Education and/or teacher certification (preferable)
  • Minimun 2 years of experience as Chemistry teacher.
  • AP experience (required)
  • Familiarity with high school U.S. curriculum and new technologies.
