| CDS Accompanies President |

The CDS Wind Ensemble was proud to accompany President Oscar Arias on his visit to the Alfredo y Delia Gonzales Flores retirement community in La Puebla de Heredia on October 1. The visit was in celebration of the day of the senior citizen (dia del adulto mayor) and was by special invitation from the Casa Presidencial. Students had the opportunity to meet the Nobel prize winning president and to perform for him, his invited guests, and the members of this very special community. This represented an opportunity our students will not soon forget and another milestone in the continued success of our CDS band program.    |
