Course goals: 1. To create a positive attitude toward physical activity.
2. To encourage exercise outside school.
3. To improve the student’s overall fitness level.
4. To increase the acquisition of the sport rules, and skills.
5. To promote sportsmanship.


Course description:
This course has been designed to give the students the opportunity to learn and use exercise and sports activities to attain an overall fitness level. Moreover, throughout the course, students will develop various athletic skills and reach personal goals that could guide them through their life.


Behavior expectations:
Be on time and prepared for the classes.
Be respectful to classmates and teacher.
Participate actively during the class.
Do your best every day.


Materials:
Complete Physical Education uniform. This consists of a school-related t-shirt, red shorts or CDS team uniforms, and athletic shoes. Students with only part of the uniform will be considered to be out of the uniform.

Homework:
Students are required to exercise a minimum of 3 hrs per week outside the P.E. classes. He/she will need to keep an activity record. This activity record is the homework. It will have to be turned in twice a quarter, sign by a parent or person in charge.
