In Middle School and High School, during the school year, students experience a variety of trips, some academic or cultural, some physically challenging, and some with a service component that provide the opportunity to push boundaries, serving worthwhile educational outcomes and furthering the mission of the school.

These trips are organized by the Principals and Counselors in each House.   Each trip has a particular emphasis, depending on the grade level. Teachers help organize and go on these trips.  Beginning in 5th grade when students leave campus for a single night, the trips progress appropriately to challenge the students to leave their comfort zones.

Activities range from examining various species on hikes to repelling down waterfalls, surfing and white water rafting.
